1. Pass a CITB Health Safety & Environment test

Prior to anything, to successfully qualify for any red CSCS card, it is paramount that you have passed a CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within the last 2 years of your red card application. Apprentice card

Trainee card

Acquiring a red CSCS trainee card requires your full name and the qualification title you wish to gain when on the card as adequate proof to register.

Experienced Worker card

The red CSCS experienced worker card requires applicants to provide evidence that they have registered for a level 2 NVQ/SVQ and have at least one year job experience in their role.

Experienced Technical, Supervisor & Manager(TSM) card

Gaining a red CSCS experienced TSM card requires workers to provide proof of registration of a level 3 NVQ/SVQ,as well as at least on year job experience on the role.
